EverStone is Documented
and Proven!
EverStone
installations use 1 1/2 to 2 gallons of cyclo-aliphatic, epoxy per 200 pounds of stone. This
is MORE epoxy than any other system on the market. This allows EverStone to
achieve compressive strengths of up to 10,000 p.s.i (ASTM C-570). Unfortunately,
others only use a meager 1 to 1 1/3 gallons of epoxy per 100 to 250 pounds of stone with
NO
prime coat.
All EverStone
epoxies are extremely moisture tolerant and will
not
turn white "blush" as cheaper epoxies do. We hear countless horror
stories about competitors jobs that were adversely effected by rain or high humidity and
turned white during installation.
Extreme
UV Blocker Epoxy - An exclusive, optional, epoxy that is far
superior to any competitors because it has a proprietary UV blocking
additive. Our Extreme UV Blocker Epoxy is also formulated in 3 viscosities
so your installation gets the right amount of epoxy coating when
installing in hotter climates.
High
Build Prime Coat - EverStone is never applied with the outdated and inferior
"trickle-down" method of bonding decorative natural stone to concrete as
competitors still do. Instead, EverStone is always applied to a clean
substrate that has been heavily primed with a proprietary epoxy primer that has an
adhesion strength of 400+ p.s.i (ASTM D-4541). The prime coat protects, seals and
strengthens the existing substrate and allows EverStone to bond 100%.
UV
Vertical Epoxy
- An extremely thick epoxy mixture that allows EverStone to
applied over
steps, retaining walls and other areas in which forms are normally needed. Vertical
epoxy is much stronger than any other installation technique and is far more resistant to
chipping and wear. It has been proven to be the most advanced method of applying
decorative stone to a vertical surface.
Elastomeric
Joint Fill - A special "elastomeric" joint-fill /
crack weld that transfers substrate movement to a flexible membrane. This
helps to keep
your floor seamless and therefore much more durable.
